Azharul Jannah
Quran Academy
A two-year distance-learning diploma in the seven canonical recitations of the Qur’an — following the traditional curriculum of Madīnah al-Munawwarah, adapted for English speakers.
A programme built for itqān — the traditional curriculum of Madīnah al-Munawwarah, carried with the rigour, discipline, and reverence the science deserves, and opened to English speakers.
A structured ascent, semester by semester
Six semesters over two academic years. You study them in order and sit examinations along the way, while everyone in your cohort moves forward together.
A hybrid rhythm, built around your week
The programme runs entirely online, combining live classes with self-paced study so students can join from anywhere in the world.
Live online classes with the faculty, recited and corrected in real time. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to sit the final examinations.
Recorded lectures and digital notes for self-paced study, with weekly reviews. Offered to students by the administration’s approval.
A realistic weekly commitment for serious students, taught in English with the Arabic terminology of the science.
Examined for mastery, semester by semester
Midterms & finals
Theoretical examinations covering the uṣūl (principles), rasm (orthography), and the other sciences studied each semester.
Tested every semester
Memorisation is self-managed, but your progress is assessed each semester. The Academy provides a plan; the student carries it forward.
75% of live sessions
A minimum of 75% attendance in the live sessions is required to sit the final exams, with weekly reviews for self-paced study.
A considered, four-stage pathway
Places are limited and admission is selective. Every applicant follows the same clear sequence.

1449 AH Cohort
There are no classes, examinations, or admissions during Ramaḍān. The blessed month is kept free for worship, and each new cohort begins after it.

A diploma that prepares you for Ijāzah studies
Graduates who complete every examined semester earn the Diploma in Qirāʾāt as-Sabʿ. This is a diploma programme: it builds the foundation and prepares you for Ijāzah studies, but it does not itself grant an Ijāzah.
